New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says he is prepared to play in Sundays AFC Championship Game, a game that by any measure is among the top 20 to 25 biggest games he has ever played in.

Oh, yeah, its definitely a game that has my attention, said Brady. Is it a huge game? No, its not a huge game. Ive played in four Super Bowls. Come on. But this is a game that I suppose sticks out a little more than an average one. Am I nervous or do I have butterflies or anything? Not at all. But I guess you could say that Im not completely overlooking the game.

Brady says its hard to rank all of his biggest games.

Keighley Cougars rearrange Batley game

Cougars’ home friendly fixture with Batley Bulldogs has been rescheduled for this Wednesday (7.30pm).

The sides were due to meet at Cougar Park on Sunday but the pitch was frozen.

Beckham expected to re-sign with LA Galaxy

Los Angeles Galaxy will confirm they have re-signed David Beckham on Thursday, according to widespread reports.

David Beckham is set to sign a new contract with Los Angeles Galaxy

Beckham, 36, will comit to a sixth season in Major League Soccer after rejecting a move to PSG earlier this month, claiming he did not want to unsettle his family with a move from the USA to Europe.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is in line to represent Great Britain at this summer’s London Olympics and needs to be playing regularly.

Beckham ended his existing five-year deal with LA Galaxy with an MLS Cup title in November, his best season since joining the MLS club in 2007.

Neither the Galaxy or Beckham’s management would confirm the reports but a press conference is expected on Thursday to confirm the deal.
