Nevill Juvenille Bonfire Society became the world’s first winners of the Bonfire Cup on Saturday following a dramatic penalty shoot-out with Cliffe Bonfire Society.
Cliffe were looking comfortable with a 2-1 lead in the final until a late breakaway secured a 2-2 draw for Nevill, who went on to win 5-4 on penalties.
