Red Wings’ Ken Daniels wins broadcasting award

Ken Daniels, play-by-play voice of the Detroit Red Wings on Fox Sports Detroit, is this year’s winner of the Ty Tyson Award for excellence in sports broadcasting.

Ken has demonstrated outstanding play-by-play professionalism, not only this past season but throughout his long and distinguished career, said DSBA president and Michigan State basketball radio broadcaster Will Tieman.
