Swansea booked their ticket to the Premiership with a 4-2 win in a pulsating match against Reading at Wembley.
Three up at half- time, the Welsh side started the second half poorly and Reading pulled two goals back before Swansea found their stride again to go on to a comfortable win.
It was a disappointing day for two Irish internationals, Shane Lone and Noel Long, and retired Irish World Cup hero, Ian Harte.
Swansea now joins QPR and Norwich in the top flight of English football next August.
Reading have to start all over again and manager Brian McDermott will have a struggle on his hands to hang on to top scorer, and former Tipperary minor hurler, Shane Long.
